Real Ale drinkers will enjoy our range of ales on offer; Timothy Taylor’s Knowle Spring Blonde, is a new member of the Taylor’s family. Fresh from the brewery and new for 2017, it’s a light, refreshing blonde ale with the depth of flavour you expect from Taylor’s beers. Old Speckled Hen, a high proportion of Crystal malt in Old Speckled Hen provides the key toffee/caramel flavour A very malty, full bodied and warming ale. Sharps Doom Bar, an enticing aroma of resinous hop, sweet malt and delicate roasted notes. The mouth feel is a balanced, complex blend of succulent dried fruit, lightly roasted malt and a subtle yet assertive bitterness. The finish is dry and refreshing.
Interesting tasting notes taken from the brewery’s websites – I suggest you pop down to the Lord Clyde and sample a few yourself.
